Girls Who Bake – at The Global Ambassador Phoenix Oct. 11th 2026

This event is FREE for girls aged 8-16 years! TICKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE CHILD ONLY. Parents are welcome to stay but will not participate in class.

LIMIT 2 tickets per person! Registrations exceeding this limit will be automatically canceled and will not be considered.

This event will be held on Sunday, October 11th, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at The Global Ambassador in Phoenix, AZ

Agenda:

During this class, girls will learn Cake-Decorating techniques from Chef Jenna Leurquin, with special guest Dani Cakes! They will receive their own mini cake to decorate and follow along with the demonstration, taught by Chef Jenna Leurquin and Dani Cakes. The girls will go home with a piping tip and practice sheet to keep practicing at home, plus their own decorated mini cake, a Girls Who Bake tote bag, stickers, treats, and helpful tools from our sponsors to foster their baking passions!

This is a TICKETED EVENT! You MUST have a ticket to attend. Your child must be between the ages of 8 and 16. Check-in will start 10 mins before the event start time.

By reserving a spot in the class, you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions:
By reserving a ticket, the parent or legal guardian (“Guardian”) confirms that they have read,
understood, and agree to the following terms on behalf of themselves and the registered participant.
1. Guardian Supervision
A parent or legal guardian must remain on the premises for the entire event and is responsible for the
supervision and conduct of their child at all times. This is not a drop-off event. Guardians are welcome
to stand with their child and assist; however, only registered participants will receive class materials.
2. Age Verification
The Guardian confirms that the participant is between 8 and 16 years of age. JL Patisserie reserves the
right to request proof of age and to decline entry to participants who do not meet the age requirement.
3. Assumption of Risk
The Guardian understands that participation in this event involves inherent risks, including but not
limited to slips, trips, and falls; falling from or misuse of chairs, stools, or other furniture; minor cuts,
scrapes, or burns; contact with decorating tools and equipment; and stains or damage to clothing from
icing, food coloring, and other materials. The Guardian voluntarily accepts these risks on behalf of the
participant.
4. Allergens and Food Safety
All cakes, frostings, and treats are produced in a bakery that regularly handles tree nuts, peanuts, eggs,
dairy, wheat/gluten, and soy. Although the class cakes contain no nuts, cross-contact is possible, and we cannot guarantee that any product is allergen-free. If the participant has a severe food allergy, please do
not reserve a ticket. The Guardian is solely responsible for deciding whether the participant may
consume any food provided during or after the event.
5. Medical Information and Emergency Care
The Guardian confirms that the participant is in good health and able to participate. In the event of an
injury or medical emergency, the Guardian authorizes JL Patisserie and venue staff to contact
emergency services and to obtain necessary medical treatment for the participant if the Guardian
cannot be reached immediately. Any resulting costs are the responsibility of the Guardian.
6. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guardian, on behalf of themselves and the participant,
releases and holds harmless JL Patisserie, The Global Ambassador, Dani Cakes, event sponsors, and
their respective owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and volunteers from any and all claims,
injuries, illnesses, losses, or damages arising from or related to participation in this event, except those
caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
7. Conduct
Participants are expected to follow the instructions of event staff and behave respectfully toward others.
JL Patisserie reserves the right to remove any participant or guest whose behavior is unsafe or
disruptive, without further obligation.
8. Personal Belongings
JL Patisserie and The Global Ambassador are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal
items. We recommend that participants wear clothing suitable for working with icing and food coloring.
9. Photography and Video
Photos and video may be taken during the event for use on JL Patisserie’s website, social media, and
other promotional materials, without compensation. By attending, the participant and Guardian
consent to this use. Guardians who do not wish their child to be photographed must notify a staff
member at check-in. We will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests but cannot guarantee that
the participant will not appear in group or background images.
10. Event Changes
JL Patisserie reserves the right to modify the schedule, instructors, activities, or giveaway items, or to
cancel or reschedule the event, if necessary. Late arrivals may not be accommodated if the class is in
progress, and unclaimed spots may be released.
