Flaky layers of buttery goodness? Totally doable! We’ll show you how—from mixing and laminating dough to shaping and baking two types of croissants. And the best part? Sampling all your amazing creations.
Great croissant is about more than a recipe; it’s about technique. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by Jenna Leurquin. The chef will go over the ingredients necessary, how to select quality ingredients, how to work and shape the dough and how to properly laminate it with butter. We will also go over proper proofing and natural fermentation methods such as sourdough levain.
Must be 16 or older to attend.
Casual attire. Aprons and coffee or water will be provided. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
