Girls Who Bake – Free Baking Workshop for Girls Ages 12–16 – August 9, 2026

PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE REGISTERING
Hosted by JL Patisserie
At JL Patisserie, we believe passion, hard work, and craftsmanship deserve to be shared with the next generation.
Girls Who Bake was created to encourage and inspire young girls who are curious about baking, dream of working in the culinary world, or simply love creating in the kitchen. As a woman who built a career in artisan pastry, I know how valuable it is to have people who encourage your ambitions and remind you that there is a place for you in this industry.
This complimentary workshop is an opportunity to step inside a professional bakery, learn new skills, ask questions, and spend an afternoon exploring the world of artisan pastry.
Whether baking becomes a future career or remains a lifelong hobby, we hope every participant leaves feeling inspired, confident, and excited to keep learning.

Allergy & Safety Information
This workshop takes place in our production bakery, where nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, and other allergens are regularly used.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate food allergies or guarantee an allergen-free environment.
For everyone’s safety, participants with nut, dairy, gluten, or other significant food allergies should not register for this event.
Participants should also be comfortable standing and working in a professional kitchen environment for approximately two hours.

A parent or legal guardian must complete the registration.
Parents or guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Additional event details, including arrival instructions and the exact location, will be provided in the confirmation email sent to selected participants.
Photography & Video
Photos and video may be taken during the workshop for use on JL Patisserie’s website, social media, and other promotional materials. By accepting an invitation to attend, participants and their parent or legal guardian consent to the use of these images unless otherwise requested in writing before the event.
Cancellation & Attendance Policy
This workshop is offered free of charge as a way to give back to our community. Because space is very limited, every confirmed reservation represents an opportunity for another young baker.
If you receive a confirmed invitation and are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to another participant on the waitlist.
Participants who do not attend without notifying us in advance may not be eligible for future complimentary JL Patisserie workshops or events.
Please only register if you are reasonably certain you can attend. We appreciate your consideration and respect for the time of our team and the opportunity being offered to another young girl.
What Happens After You Register?
After you submit your registration, you will receive a follow-up email from JL Patisserie requesting additional information about the participant, including parent or legal guardian contact information, emergency contact details, and any required acknowledgments and liability waivers.
Submitting the registration form and completing the follow-up paperwork does not guarantee a place in the workshop. Once all applications have been reviewed, selected participants will receive a formal invitation email confirming their spot. This invitation will include the exact event address, arrival instructions, and any final details.
Please read all of the information on this page carefully before registering. If any of the eligibility requirements, policies, dates, attendance expectations, allergy restrictions, or other conditions do not work for you or your child, that is completely okay—we simply ask that you do not register. We want to ensure every available spot goes to a participant who is able to fully attend and enjoy this opportunity.
Only participants who receive the official invitation email are confirmed to attend the workshop. If you do not receive an invitation, we sincerely appreciate your interest and hope to welcome you to a future Girls Who Bake workshop.
